Long lasting great and easy to use speakers. Good quality too.
I bought these for my room in college for freshman year. I'm now a junior and I still have them. They work great, sound great, and best of all is the portability they have. Unless you want a big soun d system with the bass and everything this is the way to go.

Great sound, utility and value
I have owned these speakers for a few years and have taken them on many trips. They have been hooked up to a couple of mp3 players that didn't survive as long, as well as more than one laptop. They have also served as everyday PC speakers for the "family computer" in our living room. Through all this they have kept on sounding fantastic. Many people have boogied to the sound of these speakers in hotel rooms around the globe!
The hourglass shape allows you to wrap the cables around the speakers for easy packing. They also look quite nice on your desk (I had the "aluminum" color). They are very lightweight and simple to hook up. Solid, damped volume knob feels nice to the touch. They also have sound that is better than many 3-piece systems with subwoofers - but are infinitely easier to carry. I have compared them to many other sets of speakers and (for under $200) they beat out everything but the Klipsch 2.1 set (which I have on my desk - but are not very portable). Given what's on the market, these speakers would be a great value at 3x the price in my opinion.
To close, I am writing this review as I am buying a replacement pair, as they finally fell victim to a faulty voltage adapter on a trip to Europe. I actually was really bummed when I finally had to drop them into the trash! RIP! No regrets buying another pair.
